St. Vrain and Left Hand Water Conservancy District

The St. Vrain and Left Hand Water Conservancy District is a non-profit water conservancy district created in 1971 to develop, conserve, protect and educate on water resources in the St. Vrain and Left Hand valleys. The District needed to get voter approval and ongoing support to implement its 5-point plan to protect water, support local agriculture, prepare for drought and maintain healthy creeks and rivers.

Sigler assisted the District in the public education and communications necessary to pass its successful 7A ballot measure in 2020 to increase property taxes to invest in the District's five-point plan to enhance water resources. We created a variety of fliers in English and Spanish to communicate the need for the ballot measure. Sigler also completely refreshed the district's website with new visuals and copy.

Despite running the measure during the economic downturn resulting from the pandemic, the District was successful in passing the ballot measure and has ongoing support for its initiatives. The District has had positive feedback on its website, which is much easier to navigate and has better visitor retention rates.
