Lake Ralph Hall will be the newest lake and one of Texas's biggest projects to be built in nearly 30 years. Upper Trinity Regional Water District is building the new lake on the North Sulphur River near Ladonia in Fannin County, TX. It will provide a safe, reliable water supply for the communities that UTRWD serves in North Texas.
Sigler Communications developed the strategic communications plan to guide outreach and public information for construction of the lake. We developed a public engagement/communications plan, created the project website and branding, developed fact sheets, maps and infographics. Our team helped orchestrate the project's groundbreaking, relocation of a valued local park, contractor outreach, and media relations and continues to assist with digital communications including advertising, videos, project reports, eNewsletters and ongoing social media.
The project is currently under construction and on-schedule, with the support of more than 35 local organizations and general government/public excitement about the future lake and all it will offer to the area. The project's website and Facebook page have become central resources on the project, with the website averaging around 2–3,000 views each month.
